عَنِ [ابنِ عبَّاسٍ] رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُما، أَنَّ رسولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قالَ: "إنَّ اللهَ تَجَاوَزَ لِي عَنْ أُمَّتِي: الْخَطَأَ، وَالنِّسْيَانَ، وَمَا اسْتُكْرِهُوا عَلَيْهِ".
حديثٌ حسَنٌ رواه ابنُ ماجَه والبيهقيُّ وغيرُهما.
Translation
From Ibn ʿAbbās (raḍiyallāhu ʿanhumā) that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wasallam) said, "Allāh has overlooked my people for me, for [their] mistakes, [their] forgetfulness and for what they have done under compulsion."
